SQL Mode The following data fields - from The StarterHistory Table Schema - provide "grab-able" UDM handles for position and beaten lengths - for the second call, stretch call, and finish call - for the most recent running line only:
Field Name Data Type Description --------------------- ------------- ---------------------------------------------- len2call number single beaten lengths at second call last start pos2call number integer position at second call last start lenstrcall number single beaten lengths at stretch call last start posstrcall number integer position at stretch call last start lenfincall number single beaten lengths at finish call last start posfincall number integer position at finish call last start
Playlist File Mode I haven't used Playlist File Mode in several years. So it took me a bit because I had to do some digging...
Here's a list of "grab-able" UDM handles for running line position and beaten lengths:
- Finish Position (last start): Available in the Factors drop down on the Modify Screen of the UDM Wizard.
- Beaten Lengths (Finish Position Last Start): Start by selecting Filters from the Factors drop down on the Modify Screen of the UDM Wizard. Then launch the Dynamic Filter Tool and begin by selecting Beaten Lengths (Finish Position Last Start) from factors drop on the Dynamic Filter Tool.
(See the Supported Factors page at JCapper.com for explanation of negative values for beaten lengths.)
- Second Call Position (last start): Start by selecting Filters from the Factors drop down on the Modify Screen of the UDM Wizard. Then launch the Preset Filter Tool. From there, all of the Preset Filter Codes that provide handles for Second Call Position (last start) begin with the characters "2CALLPOS" (without the quotes.)
--Hint: The filter codes drop down in the Preset Filter Tool responds to keystrokes. Once you open up the drop down and start keying filter codes the drop down will "jump" to whatever filter codes you are keying.
- Second Call Beaten Lengths (last start): Start by selecting Filters from the Factors drop down on the Modify Screen of the UDM Wizard. Then launch the Preset Filter Tool. From there, all of the Preset Filter Codes that provide handles for Second Call Beaten Lengths (last start) begin with the characters "2CALLLEN" (without the quotes.)
--Hint: The filter codes drop down in the Preset Filter Tool responds to keystrokes. Once you open up the drop down and start keying filter codes the drop down will "jump" to whatever filter codes you are keying.
(Also, see the Supported Factors page at JCapper.com for explanation of negative values for beaten lengths.)
So far as running line handles for for Playlist File Mode - it looks like finish call and second call only - and last race running line only.
I'm going to do some further digging - and will come back and add to the above list in the event I stumble across UDM handles for other points of call and/or points of call from other than the last race running line.
